Laser Scanner LTscan
Applications
LTscan is used in scanning laser thermography, particularly for detecting fine defects, delaminations or material stresses in CFRP components, electronic components or metals. The variable scan area and high focusing accuracy make it the ideal solution for precise inspection tasks in research and industry.
Scope of delivery
- LTscan 2D laser scanner module- PCIe x4 host interface card
- DisplayImg LTscan software module
- Optics for scan areas up to 300 × 300 mm
- Galvo scanner with selectable wavelength (808–980 nm or 1070 nm)
Technical specifications
The scanner supports wavelengths from 808 to 980 nm or 1070 nm and operates with an aperture of 30 mm / 20 mm.
The spot size varies depending on the LTvis module used: 2.4 mm (LTvis 250 NT), 1.2 mm (LTvis 100 NT) or 0.1 mm (LTvis 100 NTF).
The working distance is approx. 400 mm (fixed focus), alternative focal lengths are available on request.
Scan areas: 100 × 100 mm (collinear), 300 × 300 mm (offset optical axis).
Software
LTscan is fully integrated into the DisplayImg software environment. The software enables graphical parameterization of scan areas as well as the planning and execution of laser trajectories for targeted thermal excitation in the inspection process.
